One guy says 5th. Hard to really argue with it, can't really come up with 4 players I'd definitely take over him.

Here's everyone mentioned as top-5 picks in their redraft. So maybe call it a pick in the #5 to #9 range. Not bad for a #38 pick.

    Irving
    Valanciunas
    Klay Thompson
    Leonard
    Kanter
    Faried
    Walker
    Knight
    Parsons

He definitely wouldn't drop to the second round.

In an average draft he'd be a very good late lottery pick. He's everything you want and expect out of a #11-14 pick - an excellent glue guy and role player that shows flashes of star potential.

In the 2011 draft he'd be top 10, no doubt. It's still too early to say Parsons should've picked top 5, given some players are still quite raw.

Irving, Valancinunas are certainly better prospects. Leonard and Walker are debatable... The others are not as good as Parsons... 4-6 is my guess.

The best part about picking him up in the 2nd.. He barely counts against the salary cap!

Still don't get all the people that take kawhi over parsons. I feel parsons has proven to be the better player.

Kawahi has to do half of much in his role with the spurs.

    Irving obviously goes one.

After that I think it's really a crapshoot. Faried hurts your team massively in terms of defense and spacing. Valanciunas is still a prospect and hard to judge. Same with Kanter.

I wouldn't take Kemba or Knight over Parsons. I feel like you can find PGs who can score on bad teams pretty much everywhere. Most common commodity in the NBA.

I like Klay Thompson a lot.

BASED ON PERFORMANCE UPTIL NOW -

    1. Irving

    GAP

    2a. Faried
    2b. Parsons
    2c. Klay Thompson
    2d. Kawahi Leonard

    6a. Kemba
    6b. Brandon Knight
    6c. Isaiah Thomas
    6d. Iman Shumpert

    10a. Valanciunas
    10b. Kanter

No higher then 14th since that is about as high as we usually get anyway.

I'd trade Parsons for Kenneth Farried, Kemba Walker or Tristan Thompson right now. This would seriously weaken the team right now, but all three of those guys show enough potential for me. Especially, Kenneth and Kemba.

Anyone in their right mind would trade for Irving.

How soon everyone has forgotten the all to defensive IMAN SHUMPERT!!! I would take Iman Shumpert over everyone except Irving and maybe MAYBE Faried.

If he's already peaked, I'd probably even still rank him in the top 10. If he hasn't peaked I think he could end up Top 5. You have to assume his shooting will steadily improve, plus his stamina after 2-3 years of 82 games will be better. His defense is what got him into the starting lineup.

    He's a steal for sure.

Faried shows enough potential, for what? He's been better than expected, but he is what he is.

Kemba is also what he is. I'm really surprised people would take Kemba over Parsons.

You may expect that, but you don't usually get it. You usually get cole aldrich or brandon rush or 2pat. Parsons is significantly better than most 11-14 picks.
