Just enjoy the city. Enough has changed that I believe you could drive around town and really see it yourself. The galleria, downtown, you'll see.

May not have helped much, but that's what I think. Enough that you'll notice the changes.

    Welcome Back, Brah!

Washington Ave is on Washington Ave

Light rail - hop on the train downtown and ride it through the med center down to reliant, and see where the texans play, the sad looking dome, and the empty astroworld field.

St Arnold Brewery - local brewery just opened a new location NE of downtown, worth checking out if you like beer.

Washington Ave - many bars, i guess they're trying to make it like 6th street in austin, or bourbon st in NOLA.

Houston Pavillions (and i'll add discovery green) - tons of shops, restaurants, and other things to pass the time. it's all basically on the same side of downtown, still lots of construction going up in the area.

you know, i have friends i grew up with still there and they tell me that it got worse and worse after Katrina, true or false? and if you vote yes, how? as i remembered it, i loved houston, still do, i love houstonians, beautiful people.

but then again, i was just a kid. no responsibilities except to party, and party i did ladies and gentlemen.

A lot of jackasses did move here after Katrina, I went to high school with a good amount of them and no one liked them. I think it has gotten better since they first came
