As a die hard Texans fan I got to tell you it's pretty d*mn hard being a Texans fan. All I can say is at least football is my #2 sport behind basketball, but still. Pretty darn hard being a Texans fan with all of my step family being Cowboys fans. This holiday season is going to be more ribbing about my loyalty to the Texans and how they got room for me on the Cowboy ban wagon. Ugh! Anyone else a Texans fan that all their family cheers for the Cowboys and you hate it?
If the Cowboys lose tonight more than likely their season is over. If that happens I promise your family will be more devasated We we're talking 8-8 maybe 9-7 for the Texans. The cowboys were the paper champs in the pre season. Sports radio in Dallas I bet is pretty ugly with the demise of the mavs, the putrid rangers and now the extremely dissapointing cowboys
It's pretty tough being a Texans fan here in Austin. This place is about 95% Cowboys fans, 2% Steelers fans (???), 2% Texans fans and 1% are fans of the other 29 teams.
I'd still rather watch this team struggle over and over again... rather than not watch any team at all. That being said, its damn frustrating... when it happens (winning), it will be fun and that much more gratifying, but for now... its looking pretty bleak.
Not hard. I'm a bigger fan of college football. So the only thing I care about regarding the Texans is the development of the young guys and who we're going to add with our top ten pick. Although seeing Kubiaggs crash and burn is becoming a point of interest. The minute he gave Kyle (BFF) Shananhan the OC spot indicated his football judgment. Michael Oher! Michael Oher! Michael Oher!
My Texans are almost my life behind my Rockets... and other sports teams... I can tell you I am a die-hard homer... and its' tough... but at least I'm surrounded by not-so-perfect Redskin and Cowgirl fans... and an occasional join-the-bandwagon Texans fan friend. It's HARD all right that's what she said.
Its a bad situation but its not hard. At least with expectations so low, fans have few things to argue about, like who to draft next year. I couldnt imagine cheering for any other team if we didnt have the Texans. Maybe the 90s JJ Cowboys, but not now. And being a fan allows me the privelage of scapegoating kubiak's playcalling and everything thats Richard Smith. Though they both deserve it.
It's starting to get to the point where it really doesn't hurt that much. It's like if we win, I'm surprised and happy. If we lose, I'm not surprised.
I have gotten to the point where I expect something bad to happen. I knew today that Rosencopter would throw a pick eventually thats probably why there were so few passes today. I just wonder how the hell Feaggins is on this team that guy has to be the worst db in nfl history.
I second that emotion. Only freaking tie in 6 years and the Bengals manage to miss a field goal to do it.
