How would you guys rate this draft? How many impact players can be had this year in the first round? Do you believe Ming goes first, reguardless of who picks? If the draft goes 1. Ming 2. Williams 3. Woods Anyone want to estimate rookie numbers for me?
Waaaaaaaaaay too early to tell. Let's wait until all the underclassmen/high schoolers/foreign players make themselves eligible.
Yup...just too early. Hell, it's too early to judge last year's draft! With the high schoolers, it's anyone's guess. In stevie's draft, three of the top five players taken averaged 18 points or better in their first season. Nobody in the top five picks of last year's draft has managed that this year.
I hope I'm wrong but this looks like a pretty weak draft class. Jason Williams is the only player that looks like a true impact player. There are other potential gems,but it seems it will take a long time for many of them to make an impact in the League.
