Too much Francis, Yao and Cat. Let's talk about some other Rockets players. Shouldn't be much hostility in this thread...:p

Cato is 29 years old (so is Big Ben). But he shows great effort on and off court this season. Considering his size, atheletic ability, work ethic and JVG/Ewing's coaching, do you think he has a shot to be a good-to-great player?

I think his 10ft jumper and FT stroke are improving. :) If he can hit 8-12ft J consistently, his man would be afraid of leaving him to double Yao, which is what happens right now.

Then plus a baby hook? At that time Eddy Curry won't deserve the 'baby shaq' title more than Cato does.

i don't see him being all that much better than he is now. his jumper is improving and if he can start to nail a little 15-footer like oakley it would be very nice. he's playing well though.

I think he's at his peak, the most important question is going to be how long can he keep it up?

If CATO would be good shooter, YAO would had been comfortable in paint.

I don't think that CATO could improve his shooting too much. A PF with poor shooting looks like a "disable" man.

just reconsidering my post, I think that Cato could improve IF HE WANTED TO . I think he is just a bit lazy. With Ewing there as an assistant he could definately improve his game
