Since Milwaukee lost to Houston before the trade deadline, they are 9-1. In that span, Bogut is averaging 17.4 ppg, 11.4 ppg, 3.8 bpg, 2 apg, less than 2 turnovers per game, and 56% from the field. With his ability to both block shots, defensive rebound, and draw charges, he has to be considered one of the best defensive front-court players in the game. Where does he rank right now amongst centers? Top 2?
Well the only him holding back for a while was injuries so... I'm not surprised that he's been going insane.
It always takes Point guards and Centers a longer time to get a feel for the game. Keep in mind Bogut's had several injuries up until this season. He's always been good but this season people have actually started to take notice of how good he is and not refer to where he was picked in the draft. After Dwight and with Yao out of the game at the moment, I don't see why Bogut wouldn't be considered the second best Center right now.
He's very underrated and has flown under the radar for quite some time. That's usually what happens when you play in Milwaukee though (Ray Allen, Mo Williams) anyone? I think Bogut has the best post moves behind Yao Ming amongst all centers. FYI I'm not including Duncan. I'd rate him slightly ahead of Pau Gasol and Kaman with Jefferson coming in a close 5th. The crazy thing about Bogut is he's only 25 it seems like forever ago when he was drafted number 1 overall. Young, big body, legit 7 footer that's mobile, has post moves and plays good D. What more could you ask for? I think Bogut would look so much better and get proper credit if he played for anyone other than the Bucks and had a better supporting cast.
He's playing out of his mind this season on both ends of the floor. If the Bucks add a star perimeter scorer (even healthy, Michael Redd didn't fit this squad/coach), they could scare some teams.
After years of watching Michael Redd, Mo Williams and Charlie Bell jacking all shots, Bogut finally has a chance to play with a pass first PG in Jennings and Ridnour. That is why Bogut finally show his true potential!
I think the curse of Boom Goes the Dynamite was holding Bow-got down. Once Heckum Warrick was traded to Chicago the spell was broken and young Bow-got bloomed into a beautiful swan.

Bogut always has game. He's just never been completely healthy and I'm not convinced that he will stay healthy. Very underrated passer and shot blocker -- he's one of the best passing centers in the league.
I would really like to see what he could do on a more talented team. He has flown under the radar his entire career. He is a pretty good player
