Hill be pretty good in a few years. Right now he's so young and raw. He looks so awkward on the court last year not just because he was a rookie but he's still getting used to his height/body IMO. He had a crazy growth spurt in college.

He believes he can consistently hit 15-20 footers now. Not sure he'll be asked to do that just yet.

I think he's already a legit backup and can definitely become a legit starter with some improvement.

I'm surprised there was very little mention of him with all the Asik for LMA talks. I would think Portland would rather develop Leonard and that may be why the trade didnt happen. They definitely don't need Lin, so we have nothing they really want right now.

I think he has some potential, but I think he will be somewhere around the career arc of someone like Olden Polynice. Just based on what he did as a rookie and in college, I don't see him ever being all star caliber, but he I do think he'll be a contributor soon, and will spend about 60%-75% of his career as a starter caliber player.

He should have stayed in school another year.

I think he'll turn into a serviceable 12/8 guy. Still looks a bit like a stiff though.

Blazers have such a great history of picking big men in the lottery. He must be good.

If I were the blazers, I would want a dominant center to teach Leonard and help him grow his game. Either way, they have robin Lopez starting over Leonard, so why not get Asik and move Leonard to the 4? Also Asik would make it hard for Leonard eventually expanding the kids game in both rebounding and offensively if they go head to head.

Morey should trade Asik to Portland for Leonard and CJ McCollum. That way we get a young solid backup for Howard and a legitimate running mate to pair in the backcourt with Harden.

So asik for a top 10 pick plus last years lotto pick? Ever hear the term...you might be a homer??? Why not asik plus fillers for while we're at it

That's exactly why I believe a LMA trade would be hard to pull off because it'd definitely have to be a multi-team blockbuster deal.

To quote a Portland insider from the summer league

People within the organization (ex players) believe him to be a bust.

He's another Thabeet/Aldrich in the making, taken for a big body but you can't fix the problem when it's the head.

Leonard at the 4? Lopez and Asik would be better for the 4, and they would both be taken advantage of at the 4.

I doubt it. Meyers is younger and more athletic than Asik and Lopez. I think his athleticism makes him a better fit At the 4

At worst, probably a solid rotation guy who can give quality minutes at the 4 or the 5.

    Not very good.

He was god awful last year. Even worse than his numbers might indicate. No feel for the game at all. Doesn't have an outstanding skill. He's just... not very good.
