How dumb is the TikTok Generation?

Putting a segment on TV generalizing an entire generation's intelligence based on TikTok video with fake interviews is actually pretty funny

 

It's just tinman. Laugh, smile, give him a popsicle, pat him on the head and send him home.

There are test stats showing the rate of improvement has slowed/halted in recent years, and even some that show there has been a decrease in certain areas for particular age groups, which I don't believe has ever happened since they started collecting this data. That being said the percentage of Americans who have completed high school, and college (at least pre-pandemic) are at all-time highs.

Today's kids are, of course, testing higher and graduating significantly more often than Bill's age group did... which really sh*ts on his whole premise of being an anti Luis Armstrong thinking all the kids he sees today will never learn as much as he knows.

We have teachers on here who could probably give some good insight on the matter, I do wonder how this recent development in test scores compares to trends in other OCED countries, which could more accurately point to this being a generational issue or just an American issue (kids in Europe use tik tok) I haven't checked through it yet.
