I'm trying to sell a Nokia 3620 video phone (GSM) for Att, but would like to unlock first to ask for a higher price... does anyone know how to do this?
It's brand new. Just got it from AT&T today. The retail price is 319.00 As you know this phone is a camera and video phone in one. $230
http://www.unlockme.co.uk/dct4free.html This wont get rid of AT&T Wireless settings on the phone, like for web browsing, etc. You can go and get your phone "flexed" (I think that's the term) to a generic firmware for $25 or so which will get rid of all of the AT&T Wireless stuff on the phone. There's a place around Cook and Bellaire or somewhere around there that will do it for you. I don't remember any other details about the place, so sorry.
another easy way is to call up att and tell them that you are goin to say london over the weekend and need the unlock code on the phone, they will send you the info within a week... and then your phone is unlocked for good.
i would too, especially if i have a color screen phone with a camera already, no real need for another. PLus when the new hotness come out later in the year buy that.
For those who don't know - T-Mobile gives you the unlock code (if you ask) 14 days after you begin one of their plans.
i got a friend his 3 days into it. and this was like 2 weeks ago. just depends on how sweet the customer service lady is.
If you bought a phone from someone that was not unlocked, could you unlock it yourself?? And if so, how do you go about doing that?
