They are called all stars, they are called cores, they are called leaders, and they are called BIG 3, we have them around the league, what's your rank? You can add any other big 3 if what you've got is not in the list.

Of course I've got the Rockets big three at top,not because I'm biased I really believe they are the best combo.

Tracy is better than Paul Pierce.Nuff said

Yao=KG.Maybe a few years back KG was better than Yao,but now they are equal.

Ron Artest is better than Ray Allen because of his versatility, and is much more Stronger.

    Same with LA,NO,SAS,Dal.

We also have very good Role players.

We have the best 3 stars in the league no doubt, but chemistry wise, we shall see. All 3 of them can do 25-10 on any given day, but the question is will they mesh like the Celtics do.

the celtics chemistry was bulit from scratch off one offseason. they completely remodeled their team and was able to complete a championship from that.

the rockets still have their core, and have recently added barry and artest and probably dorsey and hopefully retain deke and landry. the same chemistry that helped us to the 22 game win streak is still intact but not anymore at full potential, atleast not yet. but the positive about the rockets and artest is that artest already knows the adelman system meaning itll be quick for the rockets to add artest into the rotation effectively and have him produce efficiently.

the only competition we will have next year is among the 2 other legit title contenders, lakers and celtics.

the celtics will have 1 full year of chemistry under their belts, one offseason of practice for their team was able to get the a championship, who knows how good theyll be with a little more than 1 full season of chemistry.

with the addition of andrew bynum, lakers have yet to show their full potential of their possible big 4. this upcoming season will be interesting. but moving odom to the 3 could possibly be the flaw in their line up.

if i had to choose, id pick rockets,(being a bit biased)

I don't really understand the pole. You obviously want us to vote for who you think is the best, but you ask "How do we rank?" Who we rank first? Or are you asking us who we rank from first to last in our posts?

    If that's the case then:

    Big Threes
    1. Boston
1a. Houston (we look better on paper, but we haven't played one game together yet)
    3. San Antonio
    4. LA Lakers (with Bynum instead of Odom)
    5. Detroit
    6. Pheonix
    7. Dallas
    8. Washington

2/3rds of our big 3 are ball stoppers. 2/3s like to jack up shots. 2/3s of our big 3 are injury prone. We have the best big 2 in the league. Not big 3.

Bynum instead of Odom, and I would have to give the edge to the Fakers.

One thing all the Celtics mention as a key to their winning season is the preseason trip to Europe where the team bonded and developed chemistry. Adelman should consider something like that.

Lakers have to be on the top, with their big four: three + Bynum

Spurs and Celtics 2nd, just because they have been there, done that, their big threes are not just good, more importantly they also know how to play with each other.

Rockets is #4, we look pretty good on paper, but will have to see how the chemistry and flow works in the real game.

Boston's Big 3 won 60+ games last year and the championship. I don't think you can place the Rockets ahead of that until we start performing better than them.

And please don't just break it down one on one. I don't think people here realize how much of a sacrifice each player made (besides Pierce probably) in their stats in order to coexist and make winning the #1 priority. Garnett in particular was an MVP candidate and deservedly so, and he averaged 19/9 last year (25.3 PER). And when it comes to defense, even though Yao has improved a lot he will never have the mobility of Garnett.

I do think we can be better than them next year. They are all on the wrong side of 30 and we're all on the right side of it, but before I believe it we will actually have to BEAT them a few times.

it mainly depends on ron artest that how good will the rockets be .the conbination of yao n tamc used to be pretty good ,because they had built up chemistry.accordingly ,if artest can adapt himself to our chemitry then we 'll be even better, but if not,then... :(

as yao commented ,the rockets will be much better if our chemstry will be strengtheded instead of destoryed after artest's arrival.

Damn Rockets trio looks really great. As we mentioned

Yao > KG (somebody can say =, ok)
    Allen < Artest
The best player in the world < T-Mac (somebody can say =, ok)

The problem is the Celtics have already shown their power. Now it is Rockets' time.

Well, the Celts meshed together perfectly, on the Championship level.

And it IS true, we DO look good on paper, but we haven't even played a game yet. All three players haven't even met face-to-face yet, lol.

However, YaRtesTracy does look like the best trio in the league. Now, if our bench can match, or beat Boston's, we will be the best team in the league, statistically speaking.

Barring injury and/or crazy psychotic incidents to ANY of the Rockets players, Rockets will be the best team in the league.

I think this poll allow only one single vote so this poll is not a ranking poll. It's a selection poll for something like who is best combination?
