Went out to dinner Friday night and normally, I drink straight from the bottle. Somehow, my waiter mistaked "bottle" for "24 oz goblet". So there I am, whith this huge ass goblet, topped off with Budweiser. Literally had to lift it with 2 hands. Felt kind of ridiculous, but I must say, because the glass goblet was so thick and hefty, it stayed very cold, longer than a normal glass, and the beer was quite tasty. So from now on, I think Ill ask for my beer in a 24 oz goblet. Hate drinking from a can. To me, the metal can adds a "taste" to it". Im ok with the plastic bottles at a ballgame, but they don't stay cold for as long as glass bottle. Usually prefer the longneck. Holds lots of beer and stays cold just long enough to finish it off. Never been down with the plastic cup and keg. To me, keg beer is nasty and beer wasn't meant to drink out of the same type of cup that you use with kool-aid. How do you take your beer?
ya know ...i totally missed the whole "mug" option :embarassed: i guess folks can just chalk it up under "drinking glass" btw ...another added benefit of the "goblet" method .....there is always the coronation later on that evening, if you catch my drift
Domestic in an ice cold longneck bottle. Imports in a frozen pint glass. I keep 4 of them and 4 martini glasses in the freezer at home.
Good poll. It depends on the type of beer: Guinness - pint glass Corona/Dos Equis - in bottle, with lime Cheap domestics - in frosty mug Pabst - in can Default for everything else - longneck
im suprised there are no can drinkers that have spoken up yet surely there are some rednecks among us
I prefer to drink from a class recepticle, but not a longneck. I feel like I'm sucking on a baby bottle when I drink from a longneck.
The only good thing about cans is that you can fit more of them in a cooler full of ice. Comes in handy when you're playing at a club with high beer prices.
