I think this thread was done before (or was it for hamburgers?) and at the time I had always had my dogs the same way.

Oscar Mayer hot dog, Mustard, Chili, Cheese and Onions on a lightly toasted bun. I started adding jalapenos to it because I was craving something with a little more kick.

Now everything has changed. I won't touch an Oscar Mayer dog. I don't put chili, cheese or raw onions on it anymore.

My new dog of choice is the Hillshire Farm beef Hot Links. It cost a little more but I think it's worth it. The picture on the package looked like it had red and green peppers on it and I thought that sounded good so I tried it.

Now my dogs are topped with grilled onions, garlic, green red and yellow peppers with a dab of sour cream. I still add a little mustard and toast the bun. YUMMY!! I experimented with adding an avocado to it but that just made it messy. The Hot dog kept sliding out.

Anyway, what's your dog of choice and how do you like it topped?

Best Wurst on 6th...grilled onions, sauerkraut, & spicy mustard

I recently had a Colombian hot dog...ketchup, mayo, pineapple, cheese, and some other stuff I can't remember. It sounds sick but it's actually good.

My favorite brand right now is Nathan's.

I like my hot dogs like I like my women... stale and black.

Yeah, I hate when that happens. You just have to keep sticking your weenie back between the buns until it says in there.

Can't go wrong with french fried onions as a substitute for grilled onions.

    You mean for eating?

Edit: Maybe this makes me a deviant, but I don't like hotdogs. It's just so bland... I like my meat product to have more of a flavor that stands out. Hotdog is like the white bread of meat products.

Ok, who'd like a banger in the mouth?

Oh...right, I forgot. Here in the states you call it 'a sausage' in the mouth.

I don't think I have ever tried sauerkraut. I sometimes grill a pineapple and put it on a hamburger so I bet that would be good on a hot dog too.

It depends on what I have in the fridge. I can eat any type of condiment. But usually i either go with mayo and ketchup, or mustard and ketchup.

depends, if I'm at James Coney Island I usually get the chili dog no onions, but if it's a plain hot dog I put ketchup, mustard, and relish.

I like them with mustard, katsup, onions, relish, chili, cheese and just a hint of sperm on them.

I can't do Texas style at JCI...there is something about their chili that I don't like. I like Chicago style...I can only eat so many with jalapenos though.

I don't care what's on top of the hotdog, as long as the proof is in it.
