Kwame just got a DUI in GA. He is at his low point. Lets get him at a low price!

What makes you think Kwame is better then Eddie at this point?

This would trading for the sake of trading. We need to keep our core players together and let them develop some chemistry. Unless its an out of this world trade of course. ;)

Most people on this board would say that giving up Eddie is not a low price, although giving up Moochie is always a plus. Dixon was a good college player, but a lot of people doubt if he can be effective in the NBA. I say no.

I agree. No need to trade players that are down to get another player that is down and an unproven youngster.

We all know there are a lot of rocket fans who want eddie griffin traded. But for Kwame Brown!!!!

Kwame is a much bigger bust at this point.

I'd do it if we got back a better guard/player than Dixon.

I'd do it to get rid of the Moochie Contract. Though still somewhat of a bust at this point, I think Kwame could be a star in the NBA some day. He improved his shooting percentage from 39% to 45% last year.

Eddie could still be very good some day, but he didn't show the kind of improvement I hoped for last year.

Though, I don't think Juan is going to be a great NBA player, I think he's a better back up than Moochie already.

We need to cool it & find out what this team can do under JVG. There's plenty of time between now and the trading deadline to evaluate this team under game conditions to see what we really need. Trading now is just trading for tradings sake.

When the corporate world gets new management, they don't make major changes before the 1st day on the job. They see how the company performs under their direction and then make changes accordingly. I think the Rockets need to do the same.

Not necessarily...when some companies get taken over or bought...havent you ever heard of the board of directors getting replaced with the new owner's people? or layoffs of staff right after a changover? I know I have..so it isnt an impossibility...

    but i'm just nit-picking ;)

I actually agree with the anti-trade faction.

Lets see what the new guy can do with the players before we start replacing them for past performance.
For all we know, Mooch might remember how he played before last year...Eggie might actually be forced to play closer to the basket, and MoT might actually continue the improvement he was making before the end of the season last year.

Notice I said might...even those that think I'm just a Flaming Homer have to agree that anything is possible.

    maybe, maybe no
