ive searched on the internet for the answer to my question and could not find one i believe that i may have intestinal worms what are the symptoms if you do have worms i think i have them because i itch in a certain place and i was told in my biology class that these things cause that place to be itchy is there any way to tell without going to a doctor because i would be embarassed to go in there and say i think i have worms and this has been itching and is there any over the counter products to get rid of them
On a side note...my college buddies and I were going to start a punk band called The Nuns on the Beach...(it never happened) ...The name of our first album was gonna be Poop Sandwhich...
Usually when you collect waste in the intestinal tract it has a lot to do with what you have eaten. Have you been to any foreign countries? Personally, I would eat lots and lots of fiberous food with tons of water. You could always attempt to purchase one of those colon blows. Avoid shoving anything up your butt without proper direction from your doctor.
don't assume you've got anything unless you see a doctor. check out this site in the mean time. http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/a/anal_itching/intro.htm
I knew someone would say that! He did it all for the dookie, the dookie, so you can take that cookie and shove it up his a--, yeah, yeah, yeah!
check the dookie in your sandwich, if you mash it and see things moving around, you probably have worms. otherwise, GO TO A DOCTOR!
hmmm... when someone calls you a "b!tch a$$ punk", correct them by saying it's "itch a$$ punk". 'cuse the french. anyway, as DoD would say... "go see a doctor".

Here's another health question, I'm getting all your feedback before I go to the doc tomorrow. My back has been hurting about 3 weeks and I had my girlfriend push down my back and when she got to the middle part just to the right of my backbone she said that she felt a knot. When she pushed on that spot it was painful and tender. What could that be?
i'm not sure, but having a knot in that area seems like it would be unnatural. (sorry... just going back to the old d&d days.)
If said itching is causing you to not correctly punctuate your sentences....yep, you guessed it, YOU GOT WORMS!!!!
Dookie, I'm certainly not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure the symptoms for worms are dependent on what kind of worm you have. The more obvious symptoms are diarrhea, nausea, anemia, dehydration, fatigue, gastrointestinal cramps, fever and general body pain... It gets worse, but that's what I remember from my biology/anatomy/physiology classes. As long as you go to a doc and tell him your symptoms, he should be able to diagnose whatever it is with the aid of a few tests. Lil Pun, I think that you can have knots in your back - you probably pulled that particular group of muscle fibers. But your back muscles are very important and its good that you are seeing a doc.
I think I remember watching TLC where this guy went camping, and caught fish for dinner. They didnt catch cook the fish all the way, and a few days later, he went to go poop. And his ass was itching or something, so he picked at it. He finally pulled something out of his ass, and he kept pulling a 30 feet long tape worm out of his ass. He couldn't pull it out because it was attached, so his wife cut it off. He still had it because it kept growing after he cut it. He went to the doc to get it removed. Thank you folks.
Why did I have to get up this morning and read the bbs while eating breakfast? Why did I pick that time to read the latest addition to this thread?
