I went to the AC Milan vs. Juventus game at San Siro in Milan back in 2005. We just bought some scalped tickets at the stadium since it was already sold out. Paid 45 Euro...one of the best sporting events I've ever been to.

Which game are you looking to go to?

went to see an FC Barcelona match in Barcelona maybe a month and a half ago.. Just bought tickets at the ticket window of the stadium ~2 hrs before the game. We got phenomenal seats. The stadium was actually full once the game started- apparently, most people just buy them the day of the game, except for vs. Real Madrid.

like the previous poster, it was probably one of the best sporting events I've ever been to.

I went to a Barcelona game back in 2002, it was awesome. Bought tickets at the window at the stadium.

You can buy them online or go to the stadium a few days before. I almost went to a Real Madrid game when I was in Spain, I regret not going.

Yeah, most games shouldn't be too difficult to get tickets to. If it's a big game (i.e. AC Milan vs. Juventus), you can still find scalped tickets by paying 10-30% higher than face value.

I did notice, however, that only official residents of Milan were given an invitation to buy tickets to the AC Milan vs. Inter Milan game, which was kind of strange.

Make sure you check first before finding a game in Italy. Due to some recent violent incidents and the safety requirements that resulted, most of the Serie A matches are played without anybody allowed to in attend.

You also have to check if their are games in August. I'm not sure about that.(maybe just friendly games)
