How do you find where "the party" is at in H-Town?

    I use Eventful.com and the Houston Press Events calendar, but I'm always looking for more things. I was quite impressed by the Menil Collection Art Festival today while I was on a date and loved the atmosphere.

    I guess that leads to the question, how do you tell if an event will be popular/fun? With more precision than just going to them at random?
