Just got thinking about it a bit. Which is the better way to disrupt a zone defense?

    Penetrate and dish

Shoot a bunch of 3 pointers

    Other

I'd like some links, or some reasoning/examples of ways that prove your position.

When you shoot those 3s, you need to make them...

Moving without the ball. Find the seams in the zones, and be able to catch and shoot, before the defender can guard you.

There really aren't many ways to attack zones.

Also, push the tempo when you get the rebound, this will not allow the defense to get setup in their zone D to begin with.

No way dude there are plenty.

    Split the zones
    Player Movement
    Inside targets
    Patience
    Finding gaps
    Overloading
    dribble penetration
    BALL Reversal
    Screening (extremely under used)
Ball movement is the key as it can change the shape of the zone.
There are 100s (and more) of Structured Zone Offense

here is a good link for structured zone offenses
