How do you approach a female coworker through the internet?

I would just bottom line that **** and ask for a date; but like anything else at work, qualify the hell out of it. "Don't have to say yes," don't want to ruin the friendship or working relationship, all that crap.

Whip it out, set it on the table, look her in the eye and say "Sup?". In all seriousness, just manhandle it. "Hey, I heard you know a lot of cool places around and was wondering if you could show me, my treat" aka man up.

 

It is never wise to date a coworker at your job. Especially if you rely on that job and could not afford losing that job! If it a job that you don't take too seriously then maybe you could justify it, but in most cases you need your job.

What if things goes bad and she reports you to human resources for sexual assault or that you were harassing her online? Don't want to ****t and eat in the same pot so its best if you leaver her alone.

Agree with this. It doesnt sound like "game", it comes across kinda conservative and stuffy. But within a work environment that stuff can work and help make you look like the thoughtful guy (even if you're nervous and shy). Definitely say all the disclaimers and qualifiers.

Will say that my 2 good coworker buds that went "fishing off the company pier", are no longer coworkers as a result of doing that. Nor are the girls no longer there, not because they were bad. They left on their OWN later on cuz they werent even serious about work and were just looking to find a guy to take care of them.

Yeah yeah, warning signs, PSAs, money before ___. I dont think at-work romance should be completely avoided. Like the last guy said, ultimately it depends how much you value your job.

 

Chicks and Dudes cannot be friends. Be prepared to chop it down.

Yeah going through the internet seems like you are stalking her. Just engage her in friendly conversation at work and if it seems like she is friendly and not creeped out then suggest grabbing lunch or a drink after work sometime.
