    NOt that i don't like the guy. its jsut taht he's making too much money and isn't goin anywhere anytime soon. I wouldn't mind having him on the team as a bench player but jsut not at his current salary. He's the biggest reason we're in salary cap hell. He should man up and restructure that shyt. How would a buy-out affect us. Thats seems to be the new thing to do to overpaid players. Outta all the problem we have right now, that JHoward C\contract affect me ad stand outs out more tahn anything IMO. I mean i loo at his contract i\and then i look at all the ttrue marquee players nt eh league taht make that money, adn i get sick to my stomach. Like i said, this is a diss to JHoward. I like the guy and his play off the bench. I just don't like the money he making. HE should only be making half of what he's makin really. he's makin Stackhouse, Diaw, Josh Howard money!!!

    The title should really say " how do we get rid of JHoward's contract" not jhoward.

    Nah, even if we did do that, we'd still have to pay that contract. Players get paid even if they are injured.

    Seriously gy. I mean, am i the only person who really is bother/irritated by this. I mean, this bothers me more than Rafer shortcomings, Yao's stimina problem, anything wrong with our franchise. I mean, this is worst than Ryan Bowen stealing money from our frwanchise with his million dollar contract

    let me say this

    if JVG leaves the team, there is a good chance of trading Juwon because of his contract...Les would do that...

    Almost every NBA team that is competing has a guy with an albatross contract. It would be awesome not to have that kind of deal on the books but that's the price we paid to get Tracy. i think we can still get rid of him but it will be for someone else's trash most likely.

    Just be thankful you're not paying Eric Dampier Howard's salary X2 to sit out playoff games cause you suck.

    I can't imagine any team gullible enuff to take on his contract. I mean the production outta the player and the cost for it is jsut so outlandish and off-da-chain, its nt funny. This is imo the worst thing JVG has done to the Rockets. He brought Howard's contract here.

    Can't Les jsut buy him out?

    That's cause most NBA management is stupid. Just look at the Spurs management and their ability to pickup premium players.

    Package him with Yao or T-Mac or take on another bad contract. Those are about the only options.

    I'm not bothered by the fact he originally got that contract.

    I'm bothered by the fact we can't really get rid of him.

    Hooroo mentioned in another thread that a team that would possibly make a trade for JHo is the Bulls but I can't think of any trade involving the bulls that we could make, apart from getting their draft pick :D :p

    why would the BUll want JHoward, they already have PJ Brown(whose Howard is a poor man's version of) and they're stacked with atheltic bigs and Howard really don't fit their style of play.

    You do realize that Minnesota was going to take him for Mike James but assistant coach gundy said he'd rather have Juwan for chemistry purposes.

    Dunno , I just mentioned it cause another poster mentioned it in another thread. My personal opinion is no team will take on juwan's contract...The bad thing is he has 2 years left. If it was 1, it could be easier....
