I want to know what is going on in that locker room. Are the Rockets still sulking about some missed calls yesterday or are they telling themselves, "Hey, we lost by 4 points in a game 1 on the road. We can play WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better then the way we played yesterday." Clint Capela - 4 pts, 6 rebounds PJ Tucker - 0 pts, 0/4 3 pt fg Austin River - DNP These guys are a BIG part of what we do here. Tuckers NEEDS to hit corner 3's. I feel like people are giving him a pass because he plays tremendous defense. You cant say enough about the guy the things he does doesn't show up in the stat sheets. Thats fine I get it, he does a lot of great things. But dude, you cannot have 0 pts, you just cant. Hitting those corner 3's spreads the floor and makes our offense that much more unstoppable. It's a big part of what we do and he should not get a pass. Clint Capela can play way better than this. He needs to play better than this if we want to win this series. Austin Rivers should make a difference in g2, hopefully he'll be ready to play. What are your thoughts guys? How do the Rockets come out and steal game 2 on the road?
Without Ariza and an inexperienced House, Tucker has the largest responsibilities gaurding multiple positions. At his age, getting lift on his legs and shooting strength, is difficult espically later in the series if he averages close to 40 minutes and if no one else can affect Durant. In Game 1 with that many days of rest, he should have been on point. It could be Game 1 jitters in a hype game. Rivers will help atleast on defense and we need to run some plays so he can get to the paint and get Curry and Klay in some foul trouble and make them work. He should be espically hyped playing against his in law. We should try out Faried for energy if there is lack of it but not with Green. Bring Green only if we stagnate on offense or shots not going in with them leaving open shooters. Nene for rebounding and big body, if Capela is still out of sorts.
Like we did in the first game. The only reason we weren't up by like 20 points in the first half was because our shooting was so horrible.
Short leash on Capela and House. We don't have time to baby these fools. You try out Faried for a few minutes if Capela is playing like a b**** again.
