from other sites, my computer, etc? i've put this off far too long... i feel like i've been depriving the masses. i know, i suck at the interwebs. insults are welcome, however.
King, yer mean! SWT go to a picture on the web that you want to post, right click on the picture and click on properties, copy the url for the address and come back to the site.
Get Firefox then all you have to click is Copy image location after right clicking. Less work than highlighting the url etc....if you are lazy like me.
SWTsig .... easiest way: do what mc_mark told you. BUT, you should be aware that some of the forums here do not let you link to images from most other sites on the web! Also, if the web site that contains the image takes it down, rotates it, or blocks your link, you're screwed. second easiest way: got to http://www.tinypic.com and submit the url (or give it the path on your hard drive) and it will host the pic for free. Good news: tinyurl won't block you from linking to their site. Bad news - after a period of time that the image is not viewed, they will remove the image from their servers third easiest way: set up a free account at photobucket.com or imageshack.us where you can upload pics from a url or from your hard drive. Bad news is - you have to go through the 90 second process of registering (for free). Good news is... you can keep your pics there indefinitely, you can keep a whole bunch of pics there (organized into albums), and the urls for those sites are not blocked from any of the forums here. there ya go.
