I think it just might be an animated .GIF

 

some times I get that icon, but sometimes I dont.
And I get from other sites too, like NBA, yahoo, justin.tv, etc
but sometimes I dont see any of them.

 

I currently have 26 of these in my favorites toolbar... in the latest Firefox...

Anyone else have them jump around, or duplicate? Like the one from here will also appear in the place of two others every once in a while.

Just an odd glitch I'd guess... but I wonder if someone else experiences it?

I make a bitmap that's 48X48...open it in this program and save it out as an icon file. Then place it on the root directory of your FTP page where your main index.html lives....and voila!!!!

 

sometimes that will happen to me if I switch from one page to another with a different favicon... especially google does it.

 

Yes! Google does it all the time... Glad someone else knew what I was talking about.
