I just signed up for your-site.com web hosting and I already have a domain name. It says that I have to change my DNS server to point to my account there. How do I do that?

Go to your account with whoever you set up your domain with and they should have a section with DNS server info. Then just input the Your-Site.com DNS info.

    Primary Nameserver:

    NS1.YOUR-SITE.COM
    140.186.45.23

    Secondary Nameserver:

    NS2.YOUR-SITE.COM
    140.186.45.24

    NS3.YOUR-SITE.COM
    140.186.138.25

Whoops, that third one might have been wrong. I think that's the right one now. You should get an email with these setup instructions. You might wanna check that to make sure.

Yeah I have all that info., but on Namezero.com, where I host my domain I can't find anything on changing my DNS. Also how the heck do you use FTP?

What FTP client are you using?
If you dont have one yet, go find one and read the help files...it should tell you all you need to know about using it.

To find an FTP client, go to www.download.com. The clients that work well for me are BulletProofFTP and CuteFTP. Either one should be fine. From there, you can just simply upload and download files between your PC and your designated space on their server.
