How disappointed would you be if the Rocks sign a Power Foward other than Swift?

Ditto....esp after reading that Employee #8 wants to be Option #1.

 

Just yesterday I was thinking about creating a poll on exactly this topic.

Swift: Ecstatic.
Walker: Somewhat happy.
SAR: Meh.
Marshall: Slightly disappointed (very slightly).
Someone worse than those 4: Suicidal.

 

I'm fine with any of them. Just do SOMETHING.

Walker? Happy.

It's sure starting to look like they've put all their eggs in the Swift basket. I'm starting to get the feeling that he truely is waiting on Atlanta to step up & offer him some big money, which he'll take & leave us looking stupid for chasing a FA that we never really had a chance at. I say that, because he & his agent made it perfectly clear from the start, that it's all about the money.

If we should lose out on him, I'd be happy with any of the 3 listed. However, I would'nt mind exploring the possibility of a trade with Utah for Boozer.

 

Chandler - ecstatic ... the future. Not a chance, unless he pulls a McGrady
Brand - ecstatic ... if SAR signs with LAC, could we get Brand? fantasy
Boozer - excited ... good use of those expiring contracts and future pics
Swift - excited. hopefully develop, now that he's a starter. young/athletic.
Webber - happy. great temporary solution, if he's cheap
Grant - happy . same as Webber.
Murphy - happy. With Diogu/Taft, they might want to trade him.
Shreef - not sure he'd fit, but happy to have a very good player for trade
Walker - jury out on chemistry, but good player for trade, if he's cheap
Marshall - unhappy ... how's he an upgrade over JHo?
Tskitishvilli - skittish. too much of a project ... never get a chance with JVG
Milicik - sick. If Brown gave up on him, I doubt he'd be what we wanted.

 

pretty much anyone except antoine walker. if he didn't like his role in dallas, a free-lance shooter off the bench, he won't like playing D, getting rebounds and being the 3rd option.
