How? How did Utah win its first game? What the f**k? They've got to be the least talented team in the league... Either Portland is just pathetic, or the Delta Center is built on an ancient burial ground.
I think to count Utah out is a bad idea. They may struggle, but they will be fundamentally sound on offense and defense, and that alone will get you a lot of wins. DD
One game means nothing....... Denver/Utah may be starting w/ more emotion but their true talent will surface over the long haul
If the Jazz finish ahead of the Rockets this season, make sure nobody has a car parked anywhere near the Transco Towers...
This is all Nesterovic's fault. How can you shoot 1/11? I think Spurs will have a hard time to repeat. I think Fakers should keep Kobe on the bench, then they will win the title easily.
Totally agreed. I'm not sure I'd brake if he was crossing the street in front of me, but he's one of the best coaches around. Utah won't win 25 games this year, but they'll be competitive with Sloan at the helm.
What I don't understand is how you get 13 assists on the Jazz... But they are a darkhorse in the West. I think AK doesn't really need to step it up on the offensive end as much as he just needs to be the pest on D he was last year. If Harpring and DeShawn can find their O, and Arroyo can keep passing like he did last night, then they should win about 30-35 games.
Its obvious Utah is has made up there minds to go after the foreign guys, like Sacremento, since those are the kind of guys who will have no problem living and playing NBA basketball there.
Speaking of which, the rookie Pavlovic (sp?) was a big reason they won last night. He shot lights out in the 1st half.
