Cavs are 9-49 against the rest of the league, but they keep killing the Knicks.

However, the Cavs are undefeated in their last 3 games against the Knicks. They won 2 of those games, after losing Mo Williams and the Knicks getting Carmelo Anthony.

Knicks only run and avoid defense, that's how Cleveland likes it. Even the Rockets have a good chance of beating NY.

Even the Rockets? The Nuggets team we beat with Carmelo recently was >>>> current Knicks team so I'd say we have more than a good chance of beating NY.

The Cavaliers have won 11 in a row against the Knicks.

Their last loss to New York was in the 2007-08 season on Dec 19, 2007.

It isn't anything special, they just have their number. We could go heads up with the Lakers in the early 2000's but we we're a pretty bad team. It happens.

The Nuggets were deeper than this Knicks team.

To say even the Rockets like that guy said is just wrong. Not like Houston is the worst team in the NBA.

Because the Knicks sucks and are truly overrated. Sure they are fun to watch but to be honest, they aren't even close to being contenders. Sure they have big name players on their roster but that don't mean anything if they can't play defense. Melo and Amare are both great scorers but both aren't known for their defense. Plus on top of that, D'antoni isn't a great defensive coach. His coaching style is more of a run and gun offense, try to win by outscoring your opponents instead of playing great defense to win games.

To be honest, I don't see this Knicks team any better than the original Suns team with Nash, Amare, Marion and Joe or the Nuggets two seasons ago. This Knicks team is more of a fast pace high offense and of course fun to watch type of team. But they are not contenders. Melo is a great scorer but he isn't the superstar like Kobe, Lebron, or Wade etc. If Melo was on the same level as Lebron, the Nuggets team would have been a much better team. But he is capable to taking over games with his explosive scoring.

I just don't see the Knicks being on the same page as the Lakers, Spurs, Boston, Bulls, Magic, Mavs and even the Heat (even though they beat the Heat the other day). The reason why I still think the Heat are better even though they lost to the Knicks the other day is because as much as the Heat was struggling lately, they have the potential to be incredibly dangerous in the post season. They have 2 of the top 5 players in the NBA on their roster. Its just about chemistry right now and Lebron and Wade are still trying to figure out how to be dominant while deferring to each other. Lebron and Wade combo is way better than Melo and Amare. Plus on top of that, they have ehhhhhh Bosh.... Billups may be the X factor or even Landry Fields though he's still a rookie.

Right now even as good as the Knicks seem to be having two explosive scorer in AMare and Melo, they just cannot compete with the powerhouses in the East like Celtics, Bulls, Magic and Heat. Right now, Boston is just too dominant. Their big 3 in Allen, KG and Paul are still playing at an high level plus their great chemistry. On top of that, they have one of the best top 5 point guard in the league in Rondo and all the depth they have on that team. Sure the Celtics lost Perkins but they got Kristic, and Jeff who I think will be their big X factor off the bench and they just signed Troy Murphy and Carlos Arroyo.

My point is, the Knicks are overrated. They are indeed a very good team and fun to watch. They will advance past the 1st round. The knicks have 2 great scorers which makes them dangerous but they just don't have what it takes to be a contending team in this league. Maybe when they acquire a strong defensive player and a couple more pieces then they will be one of the top teams but right now, they are just another really good team. But they are on the right path for sure. Having 2 good high all star caliber player on their team is a great start to build a dynasty. All they need now is the right pieces and a couple of holes to fill in and they too will be up there with the great teams.

What concerns me is that even when the Knicks have Amare and Melo ( two of the players the Rockets wanted) they're still not good enough to contend with the powerhouses in the league. The Knicks have 2 star players and together they're still are not good enough. Meanwhile Houston don't even have 1 star player to begin with. Even if the Rockets somehow acquire a player with the caliber of Melo, they would still be a playoff team, not a contender.

Nowadays, it seems like in order to be a contender in the NBA, a team will have to have at least two superstar or 1 superstar with an all star or 2 all star caliber player along with a deep team with talent, size and good chemistry. Houston is a good team even w/o a star player but they are not as deep as we think they are. Right now, Houston Rockets still has a long road ahead of them. It will take years before Houston can even be close to being consider a contender. Its about finding a star player first, and even so, is he even good enough to lead this team like Kobe, Lebron, Dirk, etc.

With the way teams are doing lately, Rockets will need at least 2 big time star players to compete. And the ROckets always seem to come up way short to acquire just ONE star player. The direction Houston is going right now, it just seem impossible to even acquire 2-3 star player because they can't even acquire one superstar. Its sad because I know Morey and the organization has been trying hard ever since our last playoff run and so far, not even close. Amare, Bosh and Melo weren't even close to wearing a Rockets uniform. Amare was the closing thing Morey almost acquire but he would have left this team in the dust once he's a FA. Melo wasn't going to sign with Houston or the Nuggets wouldn't even trade him to Houston. Even if the Nuggets traded Melo to Houston, he won't resign here and Houston would end up like the Cavs... With Bosh, I am glad Morey wasn't able to sign Bosh because he's an overpaid overrated player and a fake tough guy.

These Cavs are horrible though. The Cavs had a 26 game road losing streak. The Cavs broke their streak in MSG against Caremelo and Stoudemire. The entire league can defend against the Cavs in their homecourt, except the Knicks. Cavs haven't won a road game since November 9th.

Cavs haven't won a road game in 4 months.

They scored more points than NY at the end of each game.
