I doubt that my wish will come true, but I wish somehow, some way, the rockets will convince Chuck to play one year. They should offer him like more money, and maybe he'll stay. Even if he retires he should become the Rockets assistant coach. I just want him to be either on the court or on the bench, not at home watching their games on tv, or even come to games once and a while. Stay Chuck, stay. Also, to that guy who insulted my grammar, I can write good, but it's annoying and takes to much time. I can write just like any 21 year old! ------------------ Dave Rosenman Rockets Web
FrancisandBarkleyRule: Dude, that's cool that you're posting and all, but you could reply in one of the many threads which cover your same topic, rather than always starting a new thread. ------------------ $42million. 7 years.
Would you release Barkley if it meant a 1% chance of Allan Leavell coming out of retirement? ------------------
We could put him in the "Way Back Machine" Dr. Peabody and that kid and make him a few years younger.... Other than that why is this being brought up again? (I wonder if I'll be asking how we can get Hakeem to stay after next season?) ------------------ I have a dream.........his name's Hakeem.
FABR, You give new meaning to the phrase "JUNIOR member" ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
francisandbarkleyrule, I wasn't trying to insult -- and I'm sorry if it came across that way. I was trying to help you out. People are more likely to listen to what you have to say if you put a little effort into making the post look right. This post was right on target. I imagine Barkley is concerned about his knee. When you blow it out the way he did, you are lucky to regain normal use. There is no way it would stand up to the physical play and abuse that Barkley would give it. Sure he could wear a brace, but I doubt he could ever turn down his intensity. (It just wouldn't be his style.) There would always be a risk. He's lucky to be able to come back from injury to it twice. A third time, and there probably wouldn't be enough tendons and ligaments to repair. I can't imagine watching Sir Charles walk with a cane or crutches for the rest of his life. I don't see CB with the patience to be a coach, at least not full time. He's an outstanding motivator, and I could see him working with teams on either the professional or college level. He would be an interesting commentator, to say the least. CB's never at a loss for words. ------------------
I went to school with Levell's nephew. This has no actual meaning to anything in particular. Sorry. ------------------ You can't stop F&Brule, you can only hope to contain him.
