Its clear that Detroit don't going to use him, the just want to dump Mohammed. It will be good to trade Snyder but I don't thing they want to play him and is like a million higher than Walter. Walter Herrmann Can shoot, legit size, strength and quickness, some handle can penetrate, not much of a dunker more like a finger roll type of player. Can run the floor, can play the 3 and 4 when going small and some 2. (And he can talk to Scola in Spanish while playing, like Oberto and Ginobili do) He can be Novak with a better defense and more handle to go to the basket. Why Pick him? Because we need some shooting and with T-mac health he can get some time in the floor. He is not an starter but in games where we need some shooting and to spread the floor for Yao and Bonzi he can be useful. If it doesn't work np his contract will expire. What type of deal can we use to get this low risk hight reward player?
what completely baffles me about him is why no one is willing to play him this year. he's was incredible at the end of last year, and this year doesn't even get a chance to get on the court. i think he could really help this team out.

They might take Snyder just for cap relief. Maybe add a 2nd round pick as a sweetner... But a player that I like thats low risk high reward is Gerald Green. Minny might take Luther + Cash for Green.
I picked up Hermann last year to end the season on my fantasy team. You can always depend on him for 3-4 3 ptrs a game. He averaged over 20 ppg over the last part of the season. Yeah, I'd get him.
I disagree I would rather the rockets get Walter Hermann than Gerald Green.I think Gerald Green has hit the rookie wall but Walter Hermann has size and can score from anywhere.
He is not AB or Rudy gay but for his size he can run a little. At least he will run the break better than T-Mac. (And he can flop too, AI just outflopped us last game)
I wanted both players But the reason I like Gerald Green was that he was progressing quickly in his 2nd year with Boston. But when he was traded to Minny, hes never gotten sufficient minutes. Plus hes just 21.
Here is him in action <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/saYVKxLsJes&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/saYVKxLsJes&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Why Minnesota do that he is young and the T-wolf at in rebuilding mode. I love to take him but I see no reason for Minnesota to trade him.
check this out. http://youtube.com/watch?v=HP6ZPJS9wLo&feature=related herrmann looks like a great fit.
Isn't this the same dude with the incredible story about his father passing away and then having a career night for the Argentine team on the one year death anniversary or something?
Ohhh: "Walter Herrmann has lived a lot in his 20-something years. Back in July 2003, Herrmann lost his fiancee, mother and little sister in a car accident. Then after working hard to make the Argentine National Team, on the first anniversary of the horrific tragedy Walter led Argentina to win the 2004 South American Championship, by scoring 39 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. He came home that night to find that his father had passed of a heart attack." This guys seems like he might bring us some good fortune.....let's get him..
Because they already have Marko Jaric and Rashad McCants at the SG position, and Corey Brewer + Ryan Gomes at the SF position. Green barely gets any play time. If they could get an expiring contract, or draft pick, or cash they would let Green go.
I really would like to see Hermann here. Good suggestion. You guys think that Detroit would take Mike James for Hermann? They do need a serviceable pg to back up Billups and to step up when Murray goes on one of his patented cold streaks. Maybe MJ and Novak?
