I'd like to purchase the channel so I can catch all Rocket games and news. Is it possible for me to buy the channel from NYC?

If it means anything, I have Cablevision.

I doubt I can, but hopefully I get lucky.

    Lol, are you serious?

Get NBA League Pass, that's how you get out of market games.

    2. FSNHouston is no more. They are now FSN Southwest based in Irving, South Oklahoma.

    3. Rockets (and Astros of the American League) are broadcast on Comcast Sports.

You are subjected to Knicks game on MSG Network.

Also, you may want to contact your cable provider to see if they can get CSN-Houston. They will show you all the Houston stuff, but not the broadcast of the game.

I believe People all over the place on the west coast can get Lakers content.

I was in your exact situation not too long ago. If you still have family or friends in Houston try convincing one of them to install a sling box. The quality isn't great, but it's better than nothing. Otherwise, illegal streams or shelling out for leaguepass are your best options.
