Cato to Philly for Snow and KT? Steven Smith (the guy on ESPN) was basically saying that Philly is in trouble and should look to blow up the team. Cato gives them more defense (which is what Philly has lacked), and considering that Magloire is an eastern all-star Cato might be the 3rd best center in the east. Snow is the guy we've always wanted and KT could back up Mo at the 4 (or maybe start?). Anyway what do you think, I dont know if the numbers fit, but I bet they're close. We then would have to find a backup 5, maybe Ken Johnson or another NBDL player. Snow/Francis/MJ Francis/Cat/Pike JJ/Griffin Mo/KT/Padgett Yao/Johnson
the sixers already have a defensive center in sam dalembert who is a lot better than cato. this trade makes no sence for them but it would be awesome for us.
Don't know if you guys noticed, but whenever Cato plays limited minutes [like tonight vs milwaukee] we get dominated on the boards. You never know what you get with Yao. Cato is the only true rebounding presence we have. Our team already gives the opposition extra possessions from our turnovers, imagine how many more shots they would get without strong defensive rebounding.
Hm. Give us a stiff to fill in backup C and that'd be good. I think we'd lose net productivity when all is said and done because snow wouldn't play alot and KT wouldnt get huge minutes. It'd be great to turn Cato into a long term replacement for Mark Jakcson though so I like the deal. KT would never come back. Ha.
