Anderson is a natural 2, not a small forward.

However, a lineup with DA, Mobley, and Francis would be so young and unbelievably athletic.

If you consider the Lakers as THE team to beat next year (which I do), then DA being undersized is not really a liability, considering the Lakers SF is Rick Fox, who is not a great rebounder or post player.

I'm not sure DA would want to leave the Spurs, but if David Robinson signs with someone else or the Spurs are swept, signing a long-term deal with that team becomes a lot less attractive, esp. considering that Duncan will be a FA in 2 years and may want to leave somewhere where he doesn't have to play Center

If nothing else, by expressing interest in DA, the Rocks could force the Spurs to overpay for DA, and thereby weaken the Midwest Champs.

I thought Anderson was under contract for something like 3 more years . . .

He signed a one year deal with SA last year, just like Mo Taylor did with us.

He signed for the one-year exception hoping to cash in this off-season.

He's making 2.25 million right now. I'm not claiming to be a salary expert, but is it even possible to get that much of a pay raise?

He'll settle for less than 7 million...

"Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.

Yes it is, and no he won't. Anderson was offered 50-60 million by the Blazers in a sign and trade last season, but the Clippers wouldn't pull the trigger. The Spurs will pay him almost whatever he wants to keep him there IMO.

With DA & Mo T, the Rockets would have 40% of a Clips team that went 15-67 with Lamar Odom. Consider that Cato = Kandi and I'll pass on it. Eddie Robinson is alot cheaper and a natural 3.

I think he will sign a two year deal, to acquire Bird rights.

I Have a good fealing that DA will
resign with the Spurs he likes the team
and he Fits in their lineup vary well the only way
we have a chance is if the Spurs deside to not resign him in order to keep Roberson because of salery cap problems

-Very interesting article. Sounds like DA wants out of SA. I think he senses the ship is sinking with all the FA's this offseason, and Duncan set to bolt in 2 years, and the team enduring a humiliating sweep.

-To be honest, his attitude in this article seems very standoffish and arrogant. He sounds like he wants Big Bucks too, but at least if he leaves the Spurs one way or another, the Rockets can win the midwest division next year (of course, we'll get crushed by LA though)
