Alright, here's my theory: Daryl Morey will do something with the pick that people won't expect. And I am putting my money where my mouth is. Please write down either (1) the name of the player that Rockets will pick at 25 or (2) the name of the primary player coming back in a trade involving the 25th pick. One guess per person. If one of the first 12 guesses posted here gets it right, I will make a $100 donation to the tip jar. If the Rockets make a trade and there is a debate over whether one of the guesses is the "primary" player coming back, we can submit this to a vote of the clutchfans members. Predict away.
My Left or Right one. My pick is Nicolas Batum. Here is the latest. Is Nicolus Batum trying to go to Spurs Multiple teams reached out to us today wondering whether we have gotten a hold of Nicolas Batum’s physical yet. Batum underwent a series of heart tests in Cleveland on Monday and was cleared for workouts immediately afterwards, but still his physical is nowhere to be found. Batum traveled to San Antonio immediately after and was supposed to work out for Cleveland today. Some teams openly are wondering whether San Antonio gave Batum a promise and asked him to not distribute his physical around the league, which would make him very likely to slip to 26. Morey will screw SA again and steal Batum
this should be interesting. If im right, I'd like the donation made to me...thanks. using the 25th pick the Rockets will select Donte' Green.
The Rockets trade Chuck and the 25 to Orlando for the rights to number 22 so they can pick ahead of the Jazz. {They choose Donte Green with the 22.} Edit: Well crap.. I don't wanna say the same player Aussie did.. Instead of Donte Green they take... Roy Hibbert.
My chrystal ball says Denver and Portland wants to get rid of their pick at 13 and 20 but Morey is still crunching numbers and somebody will move ahead of the rox and take a player they really want.
Last year, I was hoping Rockets will get Landry and they did. This year, I predict JR Giddens will come our way.
Examples of failure to follow direction. Rule is predict who they get. If someone steals the guy Rockets want, say who they have to settle with. If the Rockets trade out of the first round, say who-- second rounder or veteran-- comes back. Of course, Morey might sell it for cash for future pick, then in that case everyone loses.
I was thinking Orlando could well use a guy like Chuck. Battie is old, and everyone else they put next to Dwight Howard is rather perimeter oriented.
Portland has the 13th pick,I guess you meant the 8th pick. Villaneuva is their Stro, but the 25th pick won't be able to yield the 8th IMO.
