It's just one loss. They can redeam themselvs in a week.

I don't think this loss is any big indicater of things to come. I saw the team play with a lot of energy a lot of effort and a lot of heart. I did not see the team give up. The biggest thing I saw was Hakeem with 16 points 15 boards 3 blocks and 2 steals. Steve had a bit of an off night, I don't think that is something that will happen much. Mobley was bad I thought for 3 periods, but came on strong in the 4th.

As a team they just made to many mental mistakes in the 1st halfe of the game that cost a ton of turn overs and gave Orlando enough momentum to get a strong start in the 3rd. Since they don't normally make those types of mistakes that cost them 20 turnovers in one halfe I don't expect it to turn into a chronic problem.

We all knew that at some point the Rockets would loose one we should win. We should also know that at some point we will win one that we probably should loose.

We should expect Steve and Cat to come back strong and Dream to keep playing the way he has been the last 5 games. I can not think of any reasons why we should not be optimistic about our chances of taking the next three in a row. Then maybe Portland will provide us with one of those wins that should have been a loss.

For the record, Steve Francis only had one turnover tonight...

Oh...Sorry, being on jury duty for a week has me talking like a lawyer...I'm sure it will be out of my system in a few years...

    carry on...

I had a bad feeling about this game. I just remember the ass whoopin they handed the rockets last time they played. The rockets playing bad, with nonstop effort by the magic equals a loss for the rocks. I didn't expect to win so its not big deal. They should come back big against the Cavs.

    Don't sweat this loss.

Either way, at least it puts this team in perspective.

Face it, the team lost its composure after the the horrible call in the 2nd quarter. From there on it was down hill.

The Rockets early turnovers and mental problems lost the game. Not the talent.

    So, don't sweat it.

Have you tought of the idea that maybe this isn't the year for the Rockets to make the playoffs!

That is a definite possibility. We are only in the second year in a rebuilding plan. And with the team in the 8th spot currently holding a .600 winning percentage I think it would be nothing short of unbalevable if we make the play offs.

But with the way Dream is playing and with the tallent of our backcourt I feel that we are in the hunt and have a legitiment shot at a play off spot.
