I was just reflecting on this. The inside-outside game of Kobe-Shaq is incredible. No championship team in the history of the NBA is as dominant as this Laker team in my opinion. And Shaq is only going 75%. Wow. Simply amazing. I hope that the Rockets team of Francis, Mobley, Nachbar, Griffin, and Ming can be even more dominant.
Actually, nevermind, I just read where you said "No championship team in the history of the NBA is as dominant as this Laker team" I will now change my initial sarcastic remark to one of disagreement, and I'll throw in a rolley eyes
I shall counter your rolley eyes with a TheCat smiley - Damn, there is no option for whiny b**** smiley.
So that everyone else will understand what this is about, nomar disagreed with me on a sim league decision in chat. (most agree with me) But, instead of dealing with it and moving on like the other poster that shared nomar's perspective, nomar has decided to quit the league and attack me personally via the BBS. Which is fine... that's what ignore is for.
Thats a load of ****. I had posters that were going to vote with me, and Cat pulled his usual "I'm quiting if things don't go my way" and got people to change sides. And he also thinks that losing 13 season of work is not as unfair as losing 2 seasons of work. I don't have the patience to deal with somebody like that and also, I can't stand his denial of the Lakers being good.
You know, there's a fantasy forum for this... I had to read the last post, because I figured it would be another crack on my credibility. I've never threatened to quit before... and there's nothing wrong with it. Why should I spend my time rebuilding again? If you truly think that people changed their minds because of me saying I would resign, you're absolutely being paranoid. I'm not locked into doing this the rest of my life. I'll do it as long as I enjoy it, and after that, I'm done. If you really think other people don't have a mind of their own and are swayed this easily be me, you are really underestimating their intelligence. For the record, the Lakers have nothing to do with this... we haven't talked about them in over a month, and nomar has even said in the past that he didn't read the threads in the NBA dish where we had those arguments. Nomar is just using it as a foundation to try and criticize me. If you could find a post from me where I said the Lakers weren't good, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Nice analysis. It would seem like, if it were so true, that there would be at least one poster out of about the fifteen in the chat that would agree with your view on me. I have doubts that my "presence" and my ideas prevent others from having a mind of their own and coming to their own conclusions.
You are incorrect. There were many who agreed with me. In fact, the original voting was something like 4-2 at the time.
nomar: I said agree with your perspective on me. People changed their minds when Zac gave them the full details of the 2004 restart. NYK agreed with you before, he agrees with you now, but you don't see him cursing me out, do you?
What's your point? Of course he's sane... that's why you don't see him cursing me out. BTW, if I was a Spurs fan first, I'm guessing I would have about 6400 posts on the Spurs BBS and 50 on clutchcity.net, instead of the opposite. My post count in the Rockets forum alone (on Rockets topics, not the Spurs) is probably more than your total for every forum combined.
I do have you on ignore... but exceptions need to be made when people start trying to spread lies about you on the BBS.
A. This is the wrong forum. B. You are both wasting bandwidth with a conversation that should be carried on via email.
