They believe in Catholicism and I don't! Let the awkward times roll! Nah, actually, my Dad can build a house by himself and I can barely hang a nail.
I know how to use the computer, I can drive a car better. Not trying to rip their driving, especially not my mothers, but you'd laugh if you ever saw them on the street driving. My father isn't so bad, actually he's not that bad at all, my mother just shadows how good my father's driving is... I think I may have jinxed myself by saying all that. God help me!
the last time I saw my mother was 1978 in Hannover, Niedersachsen Germany about 10 minutes after I came into this world. I'd like to think I am nothing like her and everything like my Father.
-I'm a Republican, they claim to be democrats but don;t real understand the issues and usually end up voting Republican -I can put stuff together. Since I was about 14 I assembled all the furniture and electronic equipment in the house because my dad doesn't know how to do any of that stuff -Both may parents are pretty highly educated, but get mad at me because I can get the same grades in high school and college as they did with only putting in about half the effort, so I guess I am smarter. -I am also far more athletic than anyone in my family.
I think I’m different because I pay attention to more social issues. I tend to think more about the world and what we tend to value and why we value. I realized at a young age that people do and don’t do things because they are told they are suppose to do them and not people they want to do them. I look at crime different than my parents. I think people who don’t break laws because of punishment as funny I realize you don’t break laws simple because you think it’s not the right thing to do. I think people are faced with choices through life and the choices people make should be more emphasized than the successes people have.
Mom: In every single aspect of life. We have absolutely nothing in common whatsoever. Dad: Eerily similar in many respects. I became more and more aware of this until his death. I will likely completely morph into a version of him when I'm old.
I'm not. I'm the perfect mixture of my mom and my dad. I've got most of my dad's intelligence, mechanical skills, and ability to retain senseless trivia/pop-culture knowledge; and I've got my mom's creativity, looks, and personality.
