This story just amazes me! They basically used this guy and then when they knew he was found out they hung him out to dry. The other guy in the story, Niazi, is accusing the FBI of blackmailing him to try and get him to spy for them on local Muslims. The government has now accused him of fraud and are seeking to put him away. What is to keep the government from blackmailing any ordinary American into compliance? They basically can take ANYTHING from your past and use it against you. Lets face it: we all have some skeletons in our closets. Add to that the FBI's checkered past during the civil rights movement and you just know they are capable of virtually anything. They have the playbook, they can just dust it off and recycle the same tactics they used in the past against any particular group of Americans (Blacks, Jews, Muslims, Hippies, Right Wingers, whatever).
