I am ok with that BUT ONLY if we cant get Chandler, Swift, SAR, or Marshall. If we cant get any one of those guys I wouldnt mind going after him. The only problem is that JVG doesnt play young guys and Brown seems to be a real head case. In no way would I want them to sign this guy to more than a 2 year deal. Its just too risky.
His attitude might not fit the Rockets system. If he was so great why would the Wizards suspend him for the rest of the playoffs while they are still in it?
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=jackson/050505&num=2 Read that article. He's been a bust..major disappointment..hasn't done anything..and basically has quit on his team. It said he had a one-on-one game or whatever with Chandler..and MJ picked him.. So do we give him a shot? I would not gamble. I would rather go after chandler..who we will not get. SAR and Donyell are more probable..I'd rather get Wilcox or something..and Badiane (i have hope)...or Dale Davis wouldn't be that bad. James thomas too.
What is the infatuation with Kwame Brown in this place? What has he done to prove that he even deserved to get drafted? He would be my poster child for why there should be an age limit (well, maybe him and Leon Smith). He seems to me like a younger Eddie Griffin. Not exactly the type of player I see JVG picking up.
