Seattle trades: Rashard Lewis $4,413,375 to Houston
    TOTAL: $4,413,375

Houston trades: Kenny Thomas $946,920 to Seattle
Houston trades: Kevin Willis $3,000,000 to Seattle
    TOTAL: $3,946,920

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Seattle and Houston being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Seattle and Houston had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Seattle would also receive a trade exception of $466,455 with this trade. This would have to be used within one calendar year from the date of this trade.

Be aware that this exception will be extinguished if the team which possesses it falls below the cap by the combined amount of the exceptions it currently possesses.

Rashard gets what he wants and Seattle gets 2 big men in KT and Willis. We get rid of one of our PFs and get in return a BIG superstar that Seattle will probably not give him away for these 2 but just a thought. Willis could be the starting center on their team. This trade is strictly to bring Rashard here and will probably never happen, but just for fun, i put this up here. Also, I have one question. WHO WILL WIN IN THE TORONTO GAME: CATO OR OLAJUWON?

If this trade happened, could we give Rashard a raise at the end of the season?

Why would Seattle want an old guy with maybe 2 years left and a good role player for Rashard Lewis?

Sea has all the leverage regarding Lewis going elsewhere.

Lewis would have to take a big paycut to go to a decent team, via free agency.

The only feasible way to get Lewis is by S&T.

The Sonics would laugh at that trade request.

It's not that far off. Willis' contract is expiring, and Kenny has a rookie contract. Maybe if we throw in a first rouner and a second rounder?

Read the trade before making an anology. It would be 2 Honda Accords for 1 Mercedes. I wouldnt do it, but perhaps a family in need of an extra car would, especially depending on what kind of Mercedes it is.

it would definitely require draft picks...willing to give up this years lottery pick, along with KT and Willis..any takers in this deal for Lewis...17pts/8 rebs/39% from the Arc...no D though....prototype 3

or you can have Yao Ming or Mike Dunleavy or Drew Gooden

Rashard is not that much better then KT. Yeah we could use a 3 with the glut at the 4 we will have next year. But this season Rashard is not head and shoulders above KT.

    Rashard:

    16.9 pts. 7.6 rebs. 1.6 asst. 1.28 stls. .64 blks.

    KT:

    13.6 pts. 7.0 rebs. 1.7 asst. 1.29 stls. .87 blks.

Rashard is 22 yrs old, but KT is no grandpa at the age of 24. Rashard shoots 46% and KT shoots 47%.

I know stats dont tell the whole story, but KT is better in three categories and is not that far behind in the other two.

If Seattle did that trade I would personally go to Seattle and give Mr. Walker a big ass kiss on the cheeks!

Don't I wish!:D Wally's pretty dumb...but geez. Still, in dreamland, let's look at the lineup

    GP
    Francis (or francis/gp ?)
    Rashard
    Griff
    Cato

    Bench

    Mobley
    Torres
    Rice

    need a big man pickup

Nice. I can draw dream plays for that dream trade easy.

    GP - 22/7/4
    Francis - 20/5/4
    Rashard 15/8
    Griff - 15/8/2
    Cato - 2/3

    Mobley - 15/0/2
    Torres - 10/0/2
    Rice - 4/0/3

    and add ... Chucky Brown/Pig Miller/Marc Strickland/etc.

    5/6

    Okie dokey.

Glove on d in back, Griff up front. Pretty nice.

    I'd better stop.

a new and used Mercedes for a Honda (Moochie), a Taraus with rebuild transmission(Taylor), a Pinto(Williams), and a VW Vanogan(Willis). I would do that trade.

Not that it isnt feasible, but that lineup would average 108pts a game. Ahhhh, to dream!

Rocket03- Rashard is a small forward, not a power forward.

I pass on Lewis and especially Payton. Lewis hates CD and Rudy for passing him up in the draft. Gary Payton is a cancer to team chemistry-possibly bipolar. Wally walker would never do this trade. Forget about Rashard Lewis- he will never be a Rocket...

I know and that is why I would not mind that trade. He plays 3 and gets more rebs then KT who is a 4. But I think KT would avg more points if he was the second option on offense like Rashard probably is.

thats not a bad idea at all! There should be a forum where people who are addicted to RealGM can post their crazy trade ideas! That would rule! Also I nominate Mango or Behad as the Moderator of that forum. I can just imagine the look on both of those goofs reading those posts and trying to keep the sanity! :D :D :D
