I've been thinking throughout game 1 of our series, how serious JVG is on the court as a coach..... So if they could get 5 from the East and 5 from the West... and have a COACHES game. One 10 minute game.

Who would your East/West team be? Would anyone else PAY BIG BUCKS to see this???? JVG in a Rockets jersey, with SHORTS on... playing POINT guard.

I guess Avery Johnson would be our 2 guard (he can prob still play).

    Heres my West:
    Avery Johnson- PG
    Jeff Van Gundy-SG
    Byron Scott- SF
    George Karl-PF
    Jerry Sloan- C

That combined team has WINNERS written all over it lol

The NBA doesn't want to induce multiple heart attacks to multiple coaches in a 10 minute period.

I would take Jeff and Sloan off of your team and add in Nate McMillan and Mike Dunleavy. JVG never played NBA ball and had to go to a small school just to start. Sloan is like 150 years old.

Sloan would probably hurt an opposing coach.

Does it have to be head coaches? because I would love to see some assistant coaches [ex NBA stars] get on that roster too.

Too many KNEE-JERK issues with the Schick Legends game... they had to go to the Rookies vs. Sophomores' game. :D

More like an NBA legends game. That would be awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing Micheal Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Magic, Kareem, etc. playing pick-up.

a few years ago I heard JVG could still throw it down. Avery Johnson wouldnt be fair though cause that little squeaky guy still is probably fast

They used to actually do that during All-Star weekend, and no, it wasn't awesome. It was boring as all hell.

They quit doing it after several "legends" injured themselves during the game...
