Me: Townes Van Zandt, Live At the Old Quarters, circa 1973.
The Allman Brothers band, Filmore East, circa 1971.
Ummm, Not so sure about this one. Johnny Cash, Live at Folsom Prison, circa, 1968.
I would have loved to see Elvis count in, That's alright Mama for the first time.

    To name a few.

Clearly we can all refer to concerts that we missed that we had no chance of ever seeing because we weren't alive at the time or old enough or in the wrong country (i.e Woodstock or Led Zeppelin for me) so I won't mention those. Concerts that I could have seen but missed are:

    David Bowie
The Who (even though Keith would not have been with them)
King Crimson (I think they played UH when I was in high school)
U2 in the Music Hall (my sister and my brother went to this show)
    REM at Numbers
Black Sabbath in the Sam Houston Colosseum (with Ronnie James Dio singing - never had the opportunity to see them with Ozzie).

Even though some acts are cheesy it is nice that so many classic rock bands still tour (the fact that touring is what makes money these days helps). For example, I totally gave up any hope of seeing YES since they were more or less broken up when I was in high school but then they released 90215 and I got to see them (and again and again as they kept touring in different iterations). Same thing with Steely Dan, Elvis Costello or even Pink Floyd.

I'm sure they are more that I just can't think of.....

Anything Zeppelin, Sabbath, Floyd, Who, and Hendrix while all members were alive and at the height of their powers. I saw Sabbath on their reunion tour in '97 and the Dio-led Heaven and Hell Sabbath in '07. but I'm want 'em back in the day.

Woodstock '69 and even the chaotic Woodstock '99.

    Monterrey Pop Festival in '67.

The original Monsters of Rock and Lollapalooza.

That big-ass rock and metal show they did in Moscow back in the '90's or whenever it was.

The list goes on and on and on and on.

All of SRV's concerts! and Santana concerts! I'm hoping Santana makes his way back to Houston. He doesn't have a stop here on his current tour :(

The Pink Floyd show that occured during a lightning storm. I hear many great stories from that one.

I really wish I could have gone to Woodstock

This is easy: WOODSTOCK, uh, 1969 version.

One concert and a bucket full of bands.

The original Woodstock just to see Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, The Who, and of course Hendrix.

I had tickets to see Def Leppard on their Pyromania Tour in the 7th grade, but I made a D in Math and got grounded.

    Ozzy Osbourne (with Randy Rhodes)
    The Police (Zenyatta Mondatta Tour)
U2 (War Tour at Red Rocks)
    Peter Gabriel (Secret World Tour)

all the floyd and marley and Dylan and zeppelin concerts..

oh yeah and solo John, solo George too...

in my generation, it would have been the Zeppelin reunion at O2, the Floyd Reunion at Live 8, or the Concert for George after his passing....
