What about a trade with the bulls that looked something like this.

    T-mac
    Swift
    8th pick

    For

    Gordon
    Deng
    Chandler
    Duhon

I love Tmac but his heath worries me, i dont think he tries that much in the offseason to stay healty. This would take care of our needs. Then sign Harpring.

    Alston,Duhon
    Gordon,Head
    Deng,Harpring
    Chandler,Howard,Hayes
    Yao,Mutumbo

Team has depth similar to the Mavericks. Can make a run plus made for the future.

    T-mac
    Swift
    8th pick????

I would want more like Hinrich, Nocioni, Gordon and the #2.

It's decent actually, those 4 Bulls almost beat the Heat. They play together well.

The Bulls are one young legitimate scoring PF away from ruling the East in a couple of years time. They have good, quality depth at almost every position. They play great D, play smart and listen to their coach.

I don't think they'll be gutting their roster anytime soon. These guys will be players in the next few years if the play their cards right. I see the Bulls/Cavs as the next Rivalry in the East.

no offense, but would it have been too much to simply put a "?" or [proposal] into the subject? i initially thought the rockets moved up in the draft...

i dont they would do this even if tmac was healthy..

the bulls will be a great team next year or the following.. (like having a shot at a championship... in a couple of years)

If Bulls take Roy or another 'small' at #2 then Swift for #16 might make sense to them (and me!). I don't believe Bulls would spend a minute considering a multi-player deal with anyone 'offeraBull'.

That was exactly what I want. I can make the deal sweeter by giving up the #2.

KH is the key. Real Shooters are rare and one that play the point has to be in any McGrady deal. Gordon is a scorer and would help replace the lost offense.

Let alone that he is the only guard in the league that has made Wade his b**** since college days (remember Kansas manhandling Wade and Marquette and lead by over 30 points in the first half in the NCAA FF)? He is the only player who consistently refuses to buy any pump fakes that Wade puts on.

I see him with Nash like ability in the future but actually knows where the defensive end of the court is. brevin Knight that can shoot.

It is hard to find a trade TMac thread that is not being criticized that much, but I somehow think the OP is day-dreaming.

Why are so many people on this board soo quick to jump ship?? Let's get one thing straight...TMac is NOT getting traded. It is not practical with his stock so low right now He just came off the worst season of his career due to chronic back injuries. What team would give up their star players (including Gordon) to take a chance on TMac's back.

Secondly, TMac has repeatedly said that his back is back to normal now and we all know what he can do with a good back. I think TMac deserves some benefit of the doubt to play for the Rox another season before we try to ship him.

If they throw in #16, and we throw in #32 it sounds ok to me. I woudl want to pick up either Cedric Simmons or Saer Sene with that pick.

I think this team would contend immediately. Then again, so would ours. But more importantly, this team is younger.

Im not saying im giving up on him at all but i think a 100% tmac is not worth that much youth and potential! Because basically swift can cover chandler and tmac covers gordon and deng but your getting an awesome kicker (duhon) and youth so you gotta do it!
