possible 3 way trade with kings/bulls.

i was just thinking after reading some articles on peja wanting to get traded to chicago and how the bulls supposedly don't have anything the kings want if the rockets could be involved to make a trade happen. I guess draft picks, TE's, or extra throw in players would have to make a deal like this work under the salary cap but I don't know the specifics of each player's salaries so i'll just put the major players in the trade. Just wanted to see if this could be a possibility at all.........................

    Rockets get:
    Kirk Hinrich
    Mutumbo

    Kings get:
    Eric piatkowski
    Eddy Curry

    Bulls get:
    Peja
    Maurice Taylor/Juwan Howard

    Explanation:

Rockets coach Van Gundy is in love with Hinrich and they need a point guard so they get one of the top rising young point guards in the former jayhawk. They also get Mutumbo as Yao's backup.
They only lose one power foward, which they already have a glut at that position at anyways and also eric which i heard was in the market anyways.

The kings get the polish rifle to replace the serbian slingshot (peja is serbian isn't he?) and a young stud in curry. So all isn't lost after trading away peja. Besides, if they don't trade peja they'll have an unhappy player to deal with the whole season and that can ruin a team and what they're trying to accomplish.

The bulls would get peja who would love to play in chicago under skiles who he mentioned he liked having as a coach and also another favorite of skiles, juwan howard. Or if they would like, maurice taylor which doesn't really make a difference to me just as long as we get hinrich. As far as mutumbo, they were talking about letting him go anyways so that's not much of a loss for the horribulls.....

Should CD start making some phone calls??????????????

The Kings could get more value for Peja than just Curry. I wonder if the Bulls would part with Curry for Peja?

i dont think taylor or howard and weatherspoon is a "glut" at the PF position, in the west, u need to have a decent PF and C to be competitive.....the rockets have that now.....y turn a huge strength into a potnetial weakness? plus mutumbo is good for maybe 5 - 7 min of pt......dude is gone.

Is Pike really going to be the difference that Sac is looking for to make a deal with Chicago. I don't think so. And Houston getting an up and coming player and a decent backup center with an expiring contract for Pike and long or big contracts in Howard or Mo. Not going to happen.

If you switch Hinrich with Curry and in another name like Tyson Chandler, and throw in a #1 pick or 2, maybe then just maybe the Kings won't laugh at the offer

Call me crazy, but for the league's 2nd leading scorer I would think he should draw much more in return than an underachieving C and Pike. Not to mention they already have Brad Miller who > Curry as of now and newly-signed Ostertag.

Doesn't even come close to working cap wise.

Kings have an all-star center and a solid backup, as well as an all-star caliber PF. Bulls would be more likely do just trade Curry for Stojakovic (which doesn't work capwise) than include the Houston deal. You seriously think they'll give up Hinrich for Juwan Howard?

Now that you are sober, please explain to me again why the Kings do this deal?

Bulls are never gointo trade Hinrich.

No one takes Taylor's $9 mill especially as a throw in.

Bulls end up with no starting PG. Kings have no starting SF. Rockets go into season with MoT watching Yao's back.

People need to stop using "possible" in the thread title for these things. I see it and I think it's like an actual rumor that's being reported. I then click on it only to find another ridiculous trade idea.

You think the Kings would trade Peja for Eddy freakin' Curry?

Sorry, but that is quite simply one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.

peja was an mvp candidate for much of last year and of the best scorer's in the league. he also shoots a high percentage for a perimeter player. the kings can definitely get more for him.

I always look at the title and think, "oh maybe someone acutally thought of a decent trade that might have a chance in hell of working." so i click on it and what do i find? Some kid (i am hoping no adults come up w/ this crap) gets bored, goes on real gm or something like that and comes up with a trade so horrible that even if CD was a crack addict, he would refuse to make the trade. So please just think to yourself, "is this something that if it were someone else would tempt me to slap them for proposing it?" If the answer is no, then go ahead and propose it. If yes, then slap yourself for even thinking about it.

A 3-way with the Bulls and Kings?

Sounds more like a 3-way with the Maloof brothers, coz you're really giving it to them in this trade.
