    Pretty cool little inspirational video

At some point, we've all wanted to dunk a basketball – you, me, tall, short, whichever – only we can't because we're too short, too heavy, too gravity afflicted. Whatever the case, we had plenty of excuses why we can't take a ball and flush it through a 10-foot-tall hoop, and most of them seem legitimate … until you're introduced to Brandon Todd.

Here's a guy who is 5-foot-5, couldn't dunk, aspired to so … worked his butt off to make it happen.

    How?

Give the video above a chance. It's worth it. It's not going to make you dunk a basketball, but it might just inspire you to go out and try.

He's black so of course he can dunk a ball.

Tell me when this works for a 7' Turkish player.

Seems like a waste of time.

He could have learned to play piano, taken dancing lessons, and helped old ladies with flat tires.

If he dropped weight instead of gaining it, he probably did not have to train as hard. Then again, I can't dunk so what do I know.

If he was clanking off the rim inches from dunking and then a year later as a youngster he would have been dunking without the hardcore training -- he'd be dunking a lot easier in fact without all the muscle mass.

Jumping is 90% natural ability and 10% specialty training.

i have a 5'7" buddy who has some springs, he can get up and do some impressive stuff, yes hes black. he also played some college ball in sealy.. he said he gained like 3" on his vert after some camp when he was younger but he could already dunk before that.. he cant grip a ball either so he cuffs every attempt, imagine its tougher to dunk like that since you would need to get even higher since youre dunking with your forearm basically..

    How's this inspirational?

I remember ClutchCityReturns posting videos of him dunking that were more impressive.

You are essentially implying that member is very small in real life and possibly has a developmental stunt.. I think anything that goes against the grain is inspirational regardless sof race.

I think this video is fake. I've never met or seen a black person who was only 5'5".

CCR is about 5'10" we played on the same YMCA league team when we had one with members of clutchfans. He had great and quick hops.

I am 6'0 and not a quick explosive jumper, but have dunked before when I was in my prime around 25 years old. I'm middle eastern bigger build about 200 pounds and not lean by any means. I just had strong as legs which helped.

I'm 10 years older and weigh more but still can grab the rim pretty easily, if only I could lose some damn weight I think I could probably dunk again.

One thing everyone seems to forget is that genetics in general has a lot to do with how your body is in terms of building muscle, hops, speed, etc. You can train all you want but sometimes that is not enough by itself. At least that's how I think.
