He's not on the top 10 for the week. He's a rising star in the NBA for the season/his career. Now... was that so difficult? lol. ------------------ "We need a chicken butt." -- heypartner is moving swiftly to help make the CC.net BBS more efficient and run faster. I agree. Our scoring system has Shaq at either 1 or 2... I don't remember which. Webber was at #2 I think. The only way I can see Shaq being #16 is if they take FT shooting into account or overweight 3's, steals, or assists, etc. ------------------ "We need a chicken butt." -- heypartner is moving swiftly to help make the CC.net BBS more efficient and run faster. Ok, rising star in the NBA for the season. How can someone be "rising" when their numbers were lower from a week ago? I'm in a hot air balloon. One hour(week) I'm at x height, the next hour(week) I am at a lower height, am I still rising? My comment was mainly on the timing of this article. Nothing like writing an article on how great franchise is becoming after he just missed the last 2 shots in a VERY important game against the Sonics. ------------------ Mmmm ... open-faced club sand wedge. there's a good article on steve francis on espn.go.com/nba that talks about the steve being a superstar and he's getting better. i just saw it and decided to let you guys see for yourself. ------------------
Thanks ------------------ Cuttino: When you have thousands of people telling you, 'You can do it, you can do it,' it helps you out an awful lot.
You beat me to it. I find it kind of funny that he says Steve is on the rise yet he's not even on the top 10 performer list for this week. He was #1 last week, now he's not even in the top 10. He's on the rise though. Huh? Right. Direct link to the article [This message has been edited by Band Geek Mobster (edited March 27, 2001).]
btw: How do you guys play Fantansy League's when someone like Michael Finley scores a #35, Duncan #23 and Shaq is at #16 overall, while Antoine Walker cops a #6. How in the hell can any scoring system place Shaq at #16.
