Yeah, I got nothing but love for JeeberD..and no hate for the Miners but honestly we should and need to put a hurtin' on them. UTEP has generally been competitive with us, but they haven't shown anything this year...and this is the best Cougar squad in ages.
UH should win this one easily. That being said, let us hope that the UH team is not looking past UTEP.
You mean #12 Houston @ UTEP. Never pass up an opportunity to point out the ranking, use it or lose it.
I agree, don't forget the ranking or a Heisman mention for Case while your at it. I ts been fun the past weeks having the games on FS-Houston and ESPN. Wish there was more of that. People complained about quality of CSTV on KPXB/Ch. 49, but hey at least they were local. Now, it's a few games or more on CBS College Sports which Comcast has hidden into their digital package.
You can sign up for CBS College Sports All Access to watch the game. Use coupon code FREEMONTH09 to get the price down to zero and sign up. http://all-access.cbssports.com/player.html?code=hou&media=136438
All of the home games will be in Comcast Sports Southwest (CSS) and thats channel 129. But if you're in town for home games, we should be at Robertson!
I like the guy as much as anyone else, but I think he has zero chance at the Heisman. Even with the gawdy numbers he's been putting up, because he comes from Houston, which is currently viewed as weaker program, he'll never garner enough (or possibly any) votes. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
i dont know. if houston runs the table, or at least only loses 1, then Keenum puts up ridiculous #s he has a chance. Especially if you consider Tebow and bradford missing time.
Been waiting almost 20 years to see numbers infront of Houston! Castor27, please edit title and insert #12 infront of Houston.
I agree. I think the Heisman is so bias now that it wouldnt matter if Keenum threw for 5,000yds and 50tds and lead the coogs to a 13-0 record. If Tebow or McCoy go undefeated and play in all the games it will go to one of them. It sucks and shouldnt be like that but the voters get off to "big time" programs and cant see imo that Keenum is the best qb in football.
Yes, sir. It's not the question of winning, it's the question of how much. Another opportunity to impress those poll voters.
My wet dream would be that every other team in the nation loses a game except for TCU and Houston. Now that would be a title game that would make people's heads explode.
Crazy question but I was curious. If the Coogs lose 1 game (knock on wood) but wins C-USA is there any chance we could go to a Cotton Bowl or Outback Bowl if we have a high enough ranking? I know our goal for the season is a BCS Game but I was curious to see if we could skip one of those low paying C-USA Bowls with 1 lost (Liberty, Texas Bowl, etc)
