Today, I went to Sand Dollar in the Heights to browse around...and behold in front of me was a, mint never-been-opened first press vinyl of KISS ALIVE I (their best album in my opinion). The best thing about it, it cost me $1.50. Does anyone else go record diving at other places?
Half price books was good before it got popular. I used to find a lot of cool suff there, a lot of vinyl and 8-tracks...
yea i used to go there, sometimes you can find good things, if the people who work their don't snatch it up first...
There used to be SO many more. I used to go to Infinite, Vinyl Edge, Record Exchange, all the funky little used books and records stores before Half Price got so big. One summer, a buddy of mine and I probably had as many records on hold at stores around Houston at one point as we had bought.
