Nothing wrong with a strip club as long as you don't go there to pick up chicks. But in that case, you're the problem, not the strip club.
i've never been to a strip club, but im not 18 yet. i think people dance around for money is funny, not sexy.
A certain strip club here in town is known for the atheletes that show up there. Want to see Barkley next time he's in town with TNT? He will almost certainly turn up there. Me? I go every year when the Rockets are in the playoffs, the game is on PPV, and I don't have tickets. Free admission, one (EXPENSIVE) drink minimum. A tradition that started during the first championship season.
I think I'm gonna start one of those strip club traditions. That is assuming the Rockets make the playoffs.
Only been to the Show Palace in Austin for a b-day and a spur of the moment thing. Wanted to do another spur of the moment thing last weekend, but no one wanted to go or spend the cash. Show Palace is kinda expensive but its the only fully nude club in Austin.
Tittie bars are boring. The girls are nothing more than prostitutes trying to take your money for shaking their ass. They always come and ask you if you want "company", sit in your lap and try and act interested in what you might have to say. Bunch of money grabbing hoes. The men that get off on that stuff are sad, lonely and stupid for throwing money away like that. Might as well go to one of those "Massage Spas" and get it over with. Also: The beers are a minimum 5bucks. So whats the turn on? I don't get it.
Houston Strip Club Encyclopedia, courtesy of the Trader: Ranked in descending order: 1. Treasures -- Best mix of attractive dancers and physical contact with the customer. Many dark corners available in the second room on the first floor. Many, many dark corners and benches available upstairs in the VIP room. After recently installing a food buffet, it has become quite crowded during peak hours. It is difficult to get a seat unless you really work at it. Still #1, and the top place I take guests visiting from out of town. A classic. 2. Centerfolds -- Easily the best environs. Very dark throughout the club, and almost pitch black upstairs. This allows the dancers to perform to their maximum potential. I was once asked if I was a cop here. That's always a good sign! One of my more memorable dances ever. Attractiveness of the dancers is still very good, although not as good as Treasures. 3. Men's Club -- Hottest dancers in Houston, hands down. 3-foot rule is enforced, which means no physical contact. This would truly be heavenly if it had Centerfolds-style contact. 4. The Colorado -- Sir Charles' hangout. Clearly in a tier below the top 3, but the dancers are attractive and if you are to buy a lap dance here, make sure you request to have the dance back in the saloon area. This area is typically deserted and has many booths to sit/lay down in! This place has a few dancers that are Men's Club quality, sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough here. 5. Rick's -- Very attractive dancers, however they must wear the latex on their headlights. A shame. Also a publicly traded company! NYSE: RICK 6. Heatbreakers -- A long drive, hard to get back to the city afterwards, after a few brews. Think volume here. Very large, tons of dancers. Next Tier: Gold Cup -- NW Houston on 290 -- not a big fan, dancers are ok Michael's -- Nothing special, run-of-the-mill place, really Pink Pussycat Caberet -- In college? Most of their patrons still are. Caligula 21 -- Total skanks. Longevity award. They've been in business forever. Fantasy North/Fantasy South -- Almost to the point of being gross. Very low class. Splendor -- One that I haven't seen, except for the back of many taxi cabs downtown.
i went to the riviera on westeimer when i was 18 with about 12 guys i went to high school with. it was 15 bucks to get in, and everything i viewed inside, i could have viewed on television, somewhere. all the girls looked like they smoked crack. it wasnt a great experience. its not worth it.
Wow, when did Bob Guccione become a Rockets fan? Each to their own, I suppose, although using strip clubs as the basis of all recreational activity is sorta... dorky. IMO. I've been to a couple of them in Houston with Mr. Costello and other single folk. The best dancer I saw was new, shy, and talked to everyone as though they were her best friend. She didn't take anything off until the very last moment when forced to by the MC yelling at her. Funnily enough, she made the most money of all of them - guys were lining up to have her kiss their cheeks for a dollar. It makes me think that these places are less about seeing women naked than they are about pretending to have some kind of meaningful contact with someone. Poor lonely bastards - sort of sad rather than sexy. (She, by the way, *loved* me for encouraging her - 'oh, thank you, you're so sweet, I'm so scared!' Poor baby.) Raunchiest thing I ever saw in a strip club was a completely nude woman covered in soap bubbles grinding herself on some prostrate guy's face on stage. (Stag night.) That was in Auckland, though, not Houston.
this dude's mom that i knew danced at rick's... she got shot in the head in the parking lot a few months ago and died.
