Man, this is the time to steal a STAR and Houston should steal Bonzi away from Portland while it's in chaos, that's how you steal star, that's how Kings got Webber. I would trade Mobley for Well right now!!!!!!!! Bonzi is a better player than Mobley. OR Pikowski for Bonzi. Let's go man!!!!!!!! Imagine Franicis, Yao, Well....OMG!!!!! Well is a better defender, not necessarily better shooter than Mobley, but definitely when he's hot, he can't be stopped. He has better size and rebound better too. Can post up and take it to the rim. He's just a better overall player than Mobley. So what if he's a cancer in Portland right now. Time changes and things can change in new team, just like Webber has.

Not only that, I heard he's a team player who has a high basketball IQ, is a good clubhouse guy, and loves throwing entry passes to Centers and has made it the centerpiece of his game.

Yes, a star you will get...

Is it possible to give zero stars?

No seriously why not Eddie griffin and Moochie and Amaechi for Garnett. That would help our team out alot

I don't think this thread deserves as much ridicule as it's getting. Much crazier trades have been proposed. Bonzi Wells is really, he was considered the best player on an athletic portland team a year ago and even this year. He rebounds well and is explosive. He's not a worse passer than Cat Mobley.

The Mobley for Wells wouldnt be that bad a couple years ago, both were young, both had great potential, but one of them turned into a headcase. Didnt the Eddie Griffin trade seem great a few years back...

You're right maybe we shouldn't experiment anymore... that was a good point.

Yeah I think Wells would be a cancer on this team...IMO, this Rockets team has some nice chemistry and work well together.

I'm not even commenting on this trade but we have to make sure to experiment and to take risk you just can't sit back and play safe forever.

Bonzi is very good SG!!! Bozi has skills on both defense and offense.

If we keep playing sloppy ball, and JVG is on his last nerve, trades will be made. I think he's going to give Mobley the benefit of the doubt. At least for this season.

It is more than just putting good individual players to make a good team. I am sure yao, francis, and well would look good on paper. I doubt that it will work. If I have to choose between well or mobley on my team, I would pick mobley any day monday to saturday, and twice on sunday.

I agree well may be a better player, has more potential than mobley, but well would want a big contract. And I don't think well would defer to yao anymore than mobley would. and if you think jvg or anybody on the team can change that.... then you have to remember well is a young, multimillionaire with a big ego.... maybe if he doesn't pay teamball, then les won't CTC.. but I doubt they are allowed to do that.

This team is struggling with outside shooting as it is... . Just what we need, a guard who's good at postups but no outside shooting. Not to mention he's a punk. Seriously, i thought this thread was a joke when you said "OMG!!!". I gave you too much credit.

wells is a bratt, he can shoot but his attitude stinks!
the only jailblazer we should consider is rasheed, last time I checked we need a POWER FORWARD who can score and REBOUND.

Head cases & player relationships aside, Bonzi Wells for Mobley doesn't sound all that bad. We could then move Jim Jackson over to the 2 guard. Hmm ...
