Houston Rockets Power Rankings - 2009-10

We'll probably be a meager 2-2 this week, but both losses will be to the teams with the two best records in the league (Phoenix/Atlanta) so we shouldn't drop much.

I'm absolutely tired of being called the "gutty little Rockets" It seems sarcastic and condescending. Am I the only one who feels like that?

 

You're absolutely not. It's not like incapacitated midgets are being sent out there to get molested. I hate it as well, these are all capable NBA players that we're talking about.

Sorting by SoS (strength of schedule) using Hollinger's rankings, though, what we've done is pretty impressive: http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/powerrankings/_/sort/sos

All the other teams with a top 5 difficult schedule are all under .500.

 

Interesting that there are only 16 .500+ teams. Shame that once again 10 are out west and only 6 are from the east.
