    Little scoop (if this isn't already public news) -- I heard today that the Houston Rockets Open Practice to the public this year is Sunday, September 26th. I don't have the exact time but it should be early afternoon.

    That's good news for fans -- they get to see the players before they actually go to training camp in Austin.

    So Media Day is one week from today (24th) and the team leaves for Austin after Open Practice on the 26th.

    That damn bear :). I checked high and low but didn't see that. So 2:30pm is the time I guess and will slightly overlap the football game. I'll keep this as a dedicated thread to the event.

    Sunday October 3rd Rockets will have another Rockets Launch event in the RGV. Last year it was an open practice followed by an autograph session only for Vipers season ticket holders.

    This why God made DVR. Love the Texans, but they don't hold a candle to the Rockets. Will be there. Hopefully I get to meet Yao. Last year I met Trevor and Jermaine. Told Ariza welcome to Houston and hoped he could help us win a championship. He said yeah sounds good.......
